Please bring back the executive roundtables. They are my favorite and the most important! Although there have been more shakeups recently but I hope they come back!!!

Another great 59 minutes in this series of Roundtable discussions. Thank you Hollywood Reporter. Donna Langley and Stacey Snider are especially inspiring. What I love most about Stacey Snider is how she treasures the copies of the screenplays she produced. 53:54 Who said that studio executives don't read much? Let's have more Sniders please!

What was very revealing was the last question, and the responses to that question. They aren't really film-lovers, they are business people. None of them were big film lovers as kids or young people. When people are wondering why the quality of output in Hollywood is so low, that's probably why. Say what you want about old Hollywood but many of the studio heads then loved their cinema.

I'm a massive fan of these roundtables - actors, directors, writers, execs. Absolutely fantastic content THR

Little bummbed that Kevin Tsujihara (Warner Bros) didn't make it this year. Really liked him last year.

I also love the rapport all the studio execs have with each other. You can tell they have a friendly rivalry between them.

Seriously, questions like "will film x meet its release date?" and "will film y meet its opening weekend target?" are so weak.

Best line: "No one can have it all in life"

*"No, not true... Alan has it all, he's got PIXAR, he's got Star Wars, he's got Marvel... Alan's got it all"*

"Check your facts..." Loved it.

Surprised that most of them seem to get alone. Alan is always the best.

It is great to actually see leaders of the industry that sell the same product have a conversation in this fashion. Its insightful!

Some really lame questions. And how come they discussed the women issue, and zero comment on the black/latino/Asian/anyone who's not white issue?

I love it they sat Fox and Disney/Marvel next to each other. I bet them too have very very discussions over X-Men IP and maybe even F4 too.

What's confusing is that none of them are really answering the question regarding the money gap in gender biases. They're dancing around it.
