Terraria: Thorium Mod - Official Mod Trailer

After a long-anticipated wait, the Thorium Mod is now available on the Steam Workshop! The Thorium Mod is a "Vanilla+" content pack that adds a massive variety of new items, weapons, armors, NPCs, bosses, and even 3 new classes into the vast world of Terraria!

With magnificent sprites from BrutalLama, AdipemDragon, Barometz, BluNinja, and many others, as well as crisp code from direwolf420 and DarkLight, we hope everyone enjoys the Thorium Mod as much as—if not more than—the base game!

I agree with a lot of people I feel like thorium is a perfect dlc and doesn’t stray too far off the main game whilst still adding lots of fun content and things to explore, when calamity feels like a whole new game experience sorta, they are both so awesome!

Thorium is one of my go-to mods. It's one of the very very very very VERY few mods that actually feel like it could be actual Terraria content if you didn't know it was a mod. My only complaint is that some of the sprites...definitely show their age. I've read that they do plan to update the sprites, but man some of them just stick out like sore thumbs. That Queen Jellyfish boss and the underwater boss whose name I always forget are some of the biggest criminals in that regard.

Still, this is a staple mod that I almost always have active in playthroughs, even if it's only to spice up the world a little bit.

Thorium was my gateway to modded Terraria/Tmodloader and my friend's intro to Terraria in general. 3 years on and we're finally making the move to 1.4 thanks to this announcement, along with some other mainstay large content mods, but Thorium absolutely has a special place in our hearts. Always looking forward to more Thorium! :D
