New LDV G10 Locksmith Van - 2021

So the LDV G10 Van is $31,000 Drive away. The Hyundai iLoad is $44,500. Almost $15,000 difference. Both cars are automatic, both cars are diesel turbo and both have a new car warranty. Dual sliding doors and rear liftback. We have spoken with other users and they have reported no problems and that the LDV is a strong platform. One user had 180,000km on the clock and said its a good van and has never let him down, unlike his last iLoad that had blown two turbos in the same amount of km's.

Ive got last model of iload before staria and a 2021 LDV g10, as long as you keep the servicing up and don't thrash the fucking things or overload them, they are both fantastic, first iload got 220k and someone ran in the back, LDV is just under 100k and only thing thats happened is back tailgate latch fucked out. iload is 3 seater.

I bought a G10plus from a local Port Macquarie dealer. Within 7 weeks was back to dealer 3 times on 3rd time Gearbox warning light came on car wouldnt start and was unable to put it into neutral to move it out of a driveway. Dealer and LDV wont supply me with a loan vehicle and so had to hire a vehicle.

My advice, dont buy and LDV and stay away from the Port Macquarie dealership as they wont look at it for 4 weeks and dont stock parts.

How to turn off the auto lock for the sliding doors, when i open one slide door to get my daughter of the car, the other slide door will lock automatically, then i have to use the remote again

Can you take tne automatic locks off soon as you hit 8km they lock everything not good if your a courier stopping 200 times a day

the owners forums say these suffer from turbo issues because they are not watercooled turbos. ontpp of that people who own them report RUST issues within the first 18 months..

So what was the end cause of the check engine light? did LDV say it was the fuel cap? we were left on a cliff hanger there

umm actuarly that is quite wrong. The gas cap not tight will set the code for evaporative purge seal test fail. It is pure knothead emission stuff. The rest is more or less unlikely to use more fuel etc. some makes made a special fuelcap light . as the ecu knows that the tank was empty and now full and then fails evap test turns on gas cap light.

is there any deliver 9 locksmiths on here able to report there findings.

I have been looking at the LDV G 10 to be honest I don't don't much about them part from the price and I think its a good looking van, are you still happy with your purchase? anything you would change? I ve also been looking at the competition but its hard to justify the price difference, I am looking at this for a courier van.

I've owned an Iload since 2011, I still have it but bought a LDV G10 3 weeks ago and so far have no regrets.
Drives so smooth that you don't really feel the speed humps all over Sydney.
Driving along the M5 in cruise control doesn't even feel like I'm working.
Never thought I'd buy a Chinese made vehicle, just like when Hyundai first came out you wouldn't think of buying one.
For the price you can't go wrong.
