New LDV Van Build Update Step 1

The Van Vault Sliders (rebranded Tactix, for Bunnings in Aus) are phenomenal. I just threw one into a Mitsu Express, sideways out the sliding door. Great storage for bulk power tools.

Similar setup to mine, except mine is a caddy van, I have 4 drawers instead of two long ones at the bottom layer, two facing toward the front of the car and accessible using the sliding door, just in case there is not enough space to fully open the drawers when parked. Mine is custom made with aluminum as well so it weights less.

If you need storage boxes for the keys in the top drawer let me know, I 3d printed mine to size.

I hate rekeying while the weather is beating on me. So I gotta say I don’t like this set up at all. There’s cheap ways of outfitting this van and you can work inside with all the necessary storage
