Hi Everyone!
So I have missed you all for the past 2 months! I wanted to get right into making some videos since school is coming up for many of you or already has.
While abroad I received so many emails about organic chemistry so I thought I would share this quick tip on R S Configuration that hopefully some of you will find useful. Organic chemistry is confusing but hopefully this made it easier for some of you! I hope you all had an amazing summer make sure to tell me what you did in the comments :) Also I have a ton of ideas for future videos so stay tuned because I want to make up for the lack of videos.
Love,
Gabby

Thank you much. I never understood the whole concept of trying to rotate the molecules in my head. I just don't have the 3D-imagination needed for that. With your concept it is way easier :-) Thank you and lots of love from Germany

This was actually really helpful. I never knew about the switching thing my prof was always just like "imagine it and turn it in your mind"

I kind of get it.  I am taking O Chem I this semester and hear that it's really difficult!  However I look forward to working really hard at it, I already familiarized myself (somewhat) with functional groups and some of the nomenclature.  I look forward to seeing more Ochem and bio videos from you!

Hi Gabby! I just started watching your channel and it's awesome! Do we have to put H on the dashed line? For number 4 I didn't do that but just switched the OH (1) and CH2NH2 (3) with each other and found a S rotation but for the original it is the opposite so it is an R configuration.
