What is Scottish Rite?

Scottish Rite Masons talk about the journey. How they evolve in character. How we expand their knowledge of the Craft and their good works to help mankind. Scottish Rite is a the continuation of what all Freemasons begin in the Blue Lodge as they continue moving to the and more light. And they do it together.

Masonry and the Scottish Rite have been the light of my life. I have met only good people and have only learned things that have helped my life. I've been a 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason for over 20 years. It saddens me to see the negative comments on here from people who don't know the works we Masons do for the community and country.

Some of us that have dyslexia know how to read and some of us have genus IQ’s it wasn’t until I was in the 10th grade when one doctor was able to read the test results properly and figured out that I had dyslexia because as I was in the third grade I memorized the scholastic aptitude test given to all public school students every year. If you were to take all the SAT that I had from 3-10 grades and lay the answer sheets on top of each other they would line up. That was 40 years ago.

My Great Grandfather was a Scottish Rite Freemason member of the United Supreme council 33°.
