The ironic thing is that people like Jordan Peterson would still contribute their ideas to the world because they actually care about the world. they don’t do it because of money or “well being”. There are 2 kinds of people in the world those who do things for personal gain and those who do things for the benefit of society at large. I prefer to be around people who want to see the world succeed not just themselves.

To expand upon this, being that equal well-being is punishing the productive and rewarding the non-productive, this will summarily result in less people intentionally being productive and more people intentionally being unproductive as that system rewards the unproductive.

Thus, trying to have a society of individuals with equal well being will result in society having worse well-being overall.

The problem is not uneven distribution of wealth, it is the extremely large difference between the wealthy and the poor that is the issue. It is the ability of the wealthy to influence the government that is the problem. It is the ability of the wealthy to abuse the judicial system that is the problem.

The truth is no political, economic, or societal system will ever be perfect because of the human factor. We are flawed. We fall into greed, lust, wraith and so on. We people make these systems so of course they won’t ever be perfect. We just need to do the best we can. I love JP!!

That's making an assumption as to why people make contributions. Lots of people make contributions for the well-being of others and that is their reward. Aside from that, making sure that at least everyone has the basics still leaves room for others to work for more but lowering the overall suffering.

Even Jordan Peterson has admitted in the that people have no control over the ability to contribute to the degree that they want to contribute because people aren’t equal in capacity. And people who can contribute are also cruel. Then people are being punished for existing.
