1) What if the first condition of UG-27(c)(1) id not met. Can we go for FEA? Or it means that the vessel can not be certified (design, fabricated & tested) as per Div.1?

2) Is code allows any alternate design if 2nd condition is not met?

Can the UG27 formula for spherical shell be used for hemispherical dished end directly?

If hydro test pressure is 1.3 * P, then shell thickness should be increased for hydrotest ?
