Cabrillo National Monument - Good Times in San Diego!

Cabrillo National Monument is located in San Diego. It commemorates the landing of Juan Rodríguez Cabrillo at San Diego Bay on September 28, 1542. This event marked the first time a European expedition had set foot on what later became the West Coast of the United States.

In this vlog we show our incredible buffet dinner at the Barona Resort, the monument to Cabrillio, the local lighthouse on Point Loma and a stroll along the nearby beach/tidepools.

Randy, I made several trips to San Diego, and naturally as there is a lighthouse at Cabrillo, I went there too. I find this location to be very peaceful. Thanks for the tour of the lighthouse and the resort buffet! THANK YOU FOR TAKING US ALONG, . . . Mike

It's great to meet up with other YouTubers and everyone I have met have been brilliant. That food looked amazing and I would have spent alot of time there, so maybe a couple of laps in the pool would have been a good idea. Real interesting and very watchable vlog, cheers Alan

I had no idea about this place, thanks for showing me. The views from the top of the cliffs were awesome. Awesome video my friend were there on the 4th of July lots of military history. It was high tide at the tide pools.

This park is about an hour an a half away from us. We take the kids to go bouldering. They love climbing all the boulders. A trail that is really nice is to the dam. The trail back así has indigenous wall drawings.

The drive to the look out to the whole Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, and Coachella Valley is gorgeous and the view point is as well.
