France’s President Emmanuel Macron has taken a gamble by calling a snap parliamentary election.

This comes as the hard right’s popularity is currently surging in France.

The most recent polling suggests the far-right party could seize power.

Why is everything right of the far left, the far right? Conservatives are not far right, they never have been. People are fed up with their governments looking after overseas interests and ideals before their own people. A government is elected to govern the people, not do what some jumped up bureaucrat in another country deems best. The French President and Prime Minister's first job is to look after France and ensure policies are put in place to allow the people to thrive. Albo had better look long and hard at what is happening in Europe if he wants to remain as PM. If the government treats its people like fools, the people will rise and remove them from office.
