The incoming wave feels more natural in APIC while the post-collision fall-off is way nice in FLIP.
APIC just wobbles very rapidly, like jello on a speaker while FLIP makes it feel more like the simulation has water tension. At the same time, FLIP looks more like viscous slime or simmered down sauce hitting the rock while APIC gives a better feel of a very low tension fluid.

when it comes to the incoming waves at first i like the right side, but it just becomes too noisy after a while. the lefts starts bad but as the water gets crazier it looks tons more natural. i'd say for basic water flow use apic, and for heavy waves n whatever use flip.

HOW DO YOU GET THE FLUID TO STAY ON THE SPHERE?

flip makes the rock look big and aspic makes it look small

FLIP is more suitable for small volume liquids, for water in a mug, glass, etc. APIC is more suitable for the sea, as it creates many more waves and retains inertia from impacts of several waves.

Cual seria la diferencia? En apic se me hace que la montaña parece más pequeña en comparación a las olas, es eso?

APIC appears to be almost a superfluid, whereas FLIP appears to be normal water

This is very relaxing to watch! I also make science videos. Would you like to see them?

they look the same, how is the comments like "yeah APIC is way more wavy and earthy because its diagonals follow Pythagoras Thereom of a=apic b=apic c=apic"

The water sticks to the rock better on the APIC render
