I just love that tele strat thing! Just love single coil hardtail guitars. Like the telecaster, but the strat body is more ergonomic. Best of both worlds.

Tones are mostly just pickup type, pickup position, speaker type (if you're recording analog), and microphone type/placement. Those have the biggest bearing on tone.
