honestly, as an animator, i was shocked to hear that this anime "had bad animation", especially when to comes to backgrounds. I LOVED how the backgrounds looked painted and the overall style conveys the world's aesthetic very well in my opinion. Huh? Some of y’all didn’t like seraph of the end?? That’s like one of my top 5 I don’t get how it’s so underrated and imo it’s in no way “generic” the only generic thing about it to me is the main character but I can look past that for some of that truly interesting side characters like the deuteragonist mikaela(everyone’s favorite vampire), guren, and queen krul. And what about the animation was bad?? I thought it was so much better than a lot of the other anime that came out during that time period not to mention the soundtrack is absolutely phenomenal and seems to get no recognition.

It actually has sold over 12 million copies and recently they've finally gotten a chance to be on the cover of shonen jump in a few years now. The popularity of it isn't slowing down anytime soon it seems and I still have hope that it'll come back one day
