I really like when you say it always takes hard work. When I spend endless months doing work and see no results and then I see videos where I learn "do it overnight", I feel confused. I always think why it takes so long for me to make designs and upload them if this is so easy and quick. Great to learn that other people also put a lot of time to make their business work 😊

As one in the wilderness... Thank you for cutting through the noise and sharing truth. Been at this now for 8 months and wondering WTH is wrong with what I am doing! Things the gurus said months ago is now being changed to something else. They are wishy washy and I think they just post videos as click bait for views (revenue). Thanks again!

As soon as I see the word "easy" in a POD pitch, I run the other way.

Bro is speaking facts. I have watched so many videos people claiming they are making 10k a month blah blah blah. I even found one that made a design she claimed she made 30k a month on and I managed to find her etsy and she didn’t even have one sale lol cracked me up. I literally have a printer and can print my own stuff. I have prices at basically giving stuff away/cost price on Etsy but still not getting sales. Honestly anyone who gots this passive income thing working without working non stop, I would like to talk to them.

Entry difficulty, one of the commandments of a fastlane business. I just read the Fastlane Millionaire which made me doubt the POD route at first, because it seems easy on the surface. It is encouraging to know that there is a barrier to entry and impossible to succeed with minimal effort. If everyone could do it, there's no point.

I got my start on POD through Greg funnily enough back in 2019 He made a 30 min video POD course which I took very seriously and started my POD journey What he failed to mention is that you really do need to market your own products and you do need to upload high quality designs consistently just like YouTube I didn't make a sale for 4 years Now after starting my YouTube channel and got a decent enough following I'm finally able to get consistent sales but he could've saved 4 years of wasting time

Thanks for showing me the truth. On your previous video about him you talked about another Youtuber called DetourShirts and now you and him are my go to because i feel you are both very honest and informative, showing you what's really possible and the real pros and cons really makes it useful for beginners like me to understand it and what to really expect from print on demand. Thanks a lot!

Lol keep exposing him and all the other ones too. The worst thing about Greg is he ghosts and delete comments when you give him criticism constructive or not.

I get where you're coming from but a lot of people have passive print on demand stores including myself. I've made designs years ago that still get sales on Amazon and still make thousands per month and don't really upload that much anymore.

Used to avoid your videos because you were clickbaiting a lot but you have such great content, keep being authentic and shed light on these youtubers

I had to laugh when I read your comment only because I am in the same situation at the moment.

I think a possible solution, (depending upon how you create the image you will be using on your POD product, could be to video the PROCESS of creating the art if you can.

Such as a quick clip of you writing down as list of ideas or themes, etc.

Then video a few clips of you sketching out thumbnails of an idea or themes you have chosen to focus on.

Then record video of the finished sketch and painting parts if it ir scanning the drawing into the computer and coloring it there, etc.

You never have to show your face, and you can add a voice over later after you assemble the clips you want to use.

Then you can upload the finished art you will put on a product in a POD that you will use for your shop.

But make sure the POD you use has free mock-ups.
Then use shots of those mock-ups in your video.

Then you don’t need to buy the product, and you will have a great story for your viewers.

You can edit it down to be between 8 and 20 minutes (so it is not too long or too short to be monetized on YT), and then edit another version down to use as a Short on YT and IG, etc.

I wish’s these gurus would stop with the “do this new niche! “ “do this trend”

If that was the case we’d have 500 niches. 500 random designs that make our shop look like TEMU.

It is so easy to knock down someone giving some actionable intel that folks can take and run. Do you realize how many people just don't even start anything just at the prospect of all the hoops that they have to jump through? Also, a lot of people just want to do something on a smaller scale while they have a proper day job. Sure no passive income is ever "passive". You have to put in the minimal work. But hey, I would rather test the waters on a small scale before going all out. And for your cheerleaders here, they just needed the excuse to not start anything.

One thing that makes me crazy enough to find a solution in print on demand business, what kind of video should I use to promote my print on demand product if I can't afford to buy samples of my product to promote it? Please someone answer, buying product samples is expensive for me but I have to create content to promote my product.
