I think Sony is really out for blood this generation. They built up themselves so well last generation and are flexing their dominance heavily, especially with Jim Ryan as CEO he seems like someone who will destroy any obstacle in his way to get what he wants and executes his moves with great precision. When it’s all said and done PlayStation 5 will be one for the books.

For once in a lifetime, PlayStation is about to strike again and deliver a major blow to Xbox. This is why Sony is securing those popular Japanese franchises from Sqaure and Konami away from Xbox for good.

The timing of a playstation showcase if true is an absolute game over for xbox, Sony deliberately waited for the ABK deal to get blocked and redfall to be the worst game of all time and then bang! Spiderman 2 gameplay, silent hill 2 news, MGS 3 remake announcement, castlevania remake, multiple new IPs including the new live service and FP shooters, last of us 3 online, bluepoints new project, multiple new VR titles. Its as if Sony and Playstation actually know what they are doing as the market leader

I've always liked the thought of Sony having their show first. They will zap the hype of whatever Xbox shows

This Showcase sounds like it could be one for the history books, if the rumors are true! This could be Sony’s biggest presentation since E3 2016 7 years ago, when they debuted Last Guardian, Shenmue 3 and Final Fantasy 7 Remake.

Sony wants to go first because they're not worried about xbox one bit. They have incredible games to show and PS5 hardware sales are amazing. Xbox isnt doing much of anything.

There’s a few games that I REALLY want to see at this supposed PlayStation showcase, if I see all these games I’ll be happy. Stellar Blade it’s my most anticipated game and it’s been a while since we’ve last seen/heard about the game, I want to see more of my sexy Korean waifu. A new Astro Bot game, Astro Bot: Rescue Mission was my favorite PS VR game and my favorite game of 2018, and Astro’s Playroom was also amazing and really showed of the Dualsense’s haptic feedback. If I get those two games I’ll be more than happy!

You heard it here.. They are gonna announce that MGS is gonna be playable fully in VR!! Also, I wouldn’t be surprised, if they finally rolled up their sleeves and stated that almost all future games will be VR supported.. at least in house..

Castlevania is my favorite franchise of all time. There is no franchise that I value more. If I were Sony, I’d put BIG money into buying Castlevania, Metal Gear, and Silent Hill from Konami. Make them an offer they can’t refuse. Screw acquiring an extremely expensive studio that has no big IP of their own. Castlevania, MGS, and Silent Hill are successful IP already. They are gigantic household names would benefit massively from Sony having the rights to them. Konami has stopped making AAA games. Silent Hill 2 Remake is the only new thing they’ve announced in recent years, which I truly hope turns out great because the graphics certainly looked good.

Sony securing these three franchises would be so perfect.
