could see the storms start to line up like in 2008 ... as hurricane gustav hit louisiana at the same time we had named Hanna and Ike and then josephine had just rolled off the african coast. I will always remember the 2008 hurricane season because it was the first hurricane to ever hit where I lived in Cincinnati OH at the time. just look up on youtube the 2008 ohio windstorm and you will see what the remnants of hurricane Ike did to us. some people were without power for a week. our infrastructure was not able to handle wind gusting to 75mph

Euro has been by far the most consistent as far as development and general direction toward the US.. Will it recurve? Will it continue west? Still too far out to know... Thanks for everything Mark

I remember last season you mentioned the commercial airliners play a part in forecasting is that still A issue I know they can’t get a plane off the ground ?

Man, all the forecasters are clinging on to the belief that this will still be an above average season. We’ll see. But it’s so odd many of them have refused to update their forecasts since early August.

Do you see a catgory 3 or 4 hurricane in outer banks just asking mark

This Hurricane season is a dud. Overhyped.
