Everything shows it turning out! Hopefully it keeps turning out to sea and doesn’t effect anyone!

No matter where you live, we all need a weather break. Things have been insane for months. Let’s keep fingers crossed that this turns out to sea and gives us the sigh of relief we need.

Just went through hell aboard my sailboat with Debby! I'm in Sarasota Bay about a half a mile offshore and on a 39 ft tartan, first my snubber broke, lost a cleat, had to go out on the bow and use a ratchet strap to tie my chain to my bowsprit because it was eating through the wood and almost rubbed through to the fiberglass. Finally got that done and then my bilge pump quit working so I was hand bailing water out for about 2 hours finally found my spare bilge underneath all the junk that had fallen off of my shelves, finally got the water out. But a lot of stuff got wet and had to throw it all away. Just about got everything cleaned up, but I am exhausted! I sure do hope this goes up in the Atlantic. With all that said I'm glad I was aboard had I not been, Rebecca would have definitely sank. Good luck to everyone out there be safe! Be prepared! Because any damn thing can happen!

Love watching videos like this! I live in Newfoundland and for the past few years, there have been stronger storms more frequent happening here in the north.

Thank you, David, I am in St. Croix. I survived the ferocious LENNY all by myself in 1999. Ever since then I feel as if I can fight anything. I slept through the worst part of Hurricane Maria while the rest of the family were hearing all the frightful noise 0:31 of the hurricane. So come what may I will just do what needs to be done to get ready as everyone should. I am now 82 since LENNY but I still have enough vim, vigor, and vitality to handle anything.😅 I became a hurricane correspondent for Stormcarib after LENNY.

I was in Broward County during the time of Andrew and we were expected to be a direct hit, Andy decided at the last minute it wanted to go to Miami and leveled it. You just never know

David You do such a fantastic job explaining thoroughly what can potentially happen with a system. You seem to be the most professional person I’ve seen that explains things well.

That was a superb forecast David. Totally agree with you; this could be a fish storm, but it is really too soon to say for sure. Give it several more days before we see what it plans on doing; the winds, if it strengthens or keeps "plugging" along Westward. Will keep a watching to see. Thanks for taking the time in doing this
