Echoes was my first Fire Emblem game, and I really didn't know what to expect from it. When I booted up the game for the first time, the opening cinematic played and I realized that this was something special. Echoes is by far my favorite game of all time, and the song sets the game's story up so well. Its a bitter sweet, melancholic tale about growing up, and this track conveys that perfectly. It's hard to listen to this without feeling something: sadness, joy, acceptance. This game is so underappreciated

I don't make in-game soundtracks extension like BGM or OST, since BrawlBrstms3, Crunchii, Vector Harbor, MasterEnex (for Fire Emblem soundtracks especially), etc. are doing these already.

This one is an exception, because this music doesn't automatically loop itself in-game. Also, I know MasterEnex did this one as well, but I made a small adjustment of my own compared from his version, so it isn't exactly the same.

Let me say this. I have not even finish this game yet and it's already better than Fates.

I just finished the game. Holy fucking shit did I love the story; pretty much makes up for how awful Fates was 😂 The characters were awesome, especially Alm, who's probably my favorite character in the entire series now. Not to mention the voice acting was absolutely flawless--Ian Sinclair, the man who was Berkut, did the best voice acting in this game in my opinion. I can't wait for the new main series Fire Emblem game coming to the switch and I bet it'll be just as fantastic. With that being said, FE Echoes: Shadows of Valentia will always have a place in my heart. I'll have to do another playthrough soon
