You have to buy the dip tube brother. You can add flour to it, and it gets sticky. I’ve used it for YEARS and it stays on for 30-40 minutes I promise you. Use a stick to push it under the bait then pull it out.

Get you some cat tails pull them all apart and fluff the fibers mix the cat tail fiber in to the bait and it will last much longer on the hook in moving water .secret 7 as with most dip baits is primarily for still water or very light current adding in the cat tail fiber will dramatically improve hook hold. Great video brother I hope this help ya. Keep the content coming

It's good stuff man. It's made to dissolve while in the water, kinda like chumming. It cones off while reeling in. That's fine, reload after about 10-15 minutes. I've caught a tip on of fish on it. A piece of green scotch Brite pad holds the bait great and it's a lot cheaper.

The sudden impact they make is for rivers. They put fibers in it so it stays on longer

Its supposed to come off that way the scent gets in the water. Cast in the same spot. I've caught limits in 30 mins. Also I use the wrinkle type tube style. Plus you can make it thick or peanut butter concentancy just buy adding oil or corn strach.

When I use the secret 7 I use a stick or a paint paddle I thin it out with water and I've heard of some people mix limburger cheese in the secret 7 to make it a little thinner.

I prefer sudden impact personally, but secret 7 also very good. I fish more resevoirs and smaller size lakes (80-150 acre lakes with mud/sand bottom)
If you want eater size channel cats, it's the way to go. I like to use a trailer hook with a small pc of shrimp, and fiber bait.
Oh, I prefer the furry hook thingy over the tube 😄 I fish areas with very. very minimal current so mine stays on a little longer than those of you who river fish.

Use Cornstarch to thicken the bait and make it last longer.

Hey your suppose to push it into the creamy bait with a paint stirer or a stick and smear the bait onto the furry thing or tube
