She was a truly remarkable lady. I'm not Brittish but I have admired her my whole life, I am 57 years old. I feel deep sadness at her passing and my thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends and all the people grieving the loss of Her Majesty. I feel like the world is a little less stable without her.

She was Queen for 6 generations of my family, from my great great Grandparents to my great Grandparents, my Grandparents, my parents, my siblings, cousins and myself to my grandparents great grandchildren and two of them are adults. She has been Queen for 70 years of Ameirca's 243 years of existence and nearly half the age of Canada! Her Empire at the beginning of her reign was over 40 countries. Imagine being in your early 20s to taking head of over 40 countries? This woman wasn't meant to be Queen of England, the realms and the Commonwealth, yet her uncle vacated the crown and stepped away for her dad to be next in line. Just to think we have heard "God Save The Queen" sang at events for the last time, well for most of us we probably won't hear it again. It feels surreal. We knew this time would come but it still shocked us, never thought she would die, even at her age, she will forever be immortalised in the History text books. They will be teaching kids about this woman for hundreds of years. May she rest in peace 🙏
