Prince William Rushes to Aid Fallen Dignitary

William, 34, rushed to help a man who fell to the ground while greeting William and Princess Kate in Harlow, Essex.

I think the best part is that he cracked a joke afterwards to ease the man's embarrassment. I just wish I knew what he said.

Why are people giving Kate such a hard time? I’m a first responder, and I think that Kate did exactly what we, first responders, wish people would do. She was concerned but stayed out of the way, she let her husband who’s also a first responder, help the man. She also did a good job by not panicking and she kept the public calm. That’s very important in an urgent situation like this one.

I think Kate’s reaction was appropriate. She knew that there are many who have stepped up to help the man including her husband. No need to further crowd the area and it’s obvious that the officer was okay. No need to further embarrass the man by crowding him. I have always been a casual observer of her and Prince William, but I think they are both doing an amazing job as young royals, as well as parents. They have a quiet strength and dignity about them.
