Scott is a really intelligent and nice guy, Interesting to see how the next one goes with the Klipper discussion. I was surprised on the new features and improvements that Marlin has made and is working on.

What we would like is dumping the config and eeprom stored settings/meshes in one single command that produces G code to reimport it. I'm continuously using winmerge to align my config files between older and newer versions and it's a tedious process. Eg. BF 2.0 to BF 2.1.2 nightly had a lot of changes

GH SmartShaper is the solution that allows you to add Input Shaping to 3D Cartesian printers in a simple and immediate way, avoiding the use of Klipper on external host cards such as RPI4. Just replace the X and Y axis drivers with the GH SmartShaper drivers, add some configuration commands to your g-code and you are ready to print with input shaping

As I do know programming, I can not see too much possibilities for multiprocessing in 3D printer job, because we have 1 nozzle, so it may be moved by 1 thread only.
And to calculate anything to print the project, even 8 bit board is enough.

People doesn't know Marlin, because getting a new printer there is no information what system the printer runs with

Yea, we need a community supported ender 5 plus firmware because marlin bugs in 2.1.1 go unfixed. Let's go community.
