Thanks for a super helpful video! The importance of proper shear strength sounds paramount.
What are your thoughts, or have you seen patio doors (sliding glass doors) installed in tiny homes? With such tall and wide pieces of glass Im concerned about their ability to withstand transport.

I have a triple panel atrium door (outter windows fixed, middle window is the door) that I intend to use for the door of my tiny house. I will use all of your tips from this video but my friends who are well versed in installing doors are afraid that 100, 000 miles down the road my door (or the shims) may rattle out of place..
Do you have any suggestions (more hurricane preperation perhaps?) Or long term knowledge of tiny house doors to either help me not have it rattle out of place long term or to quite my friends fears?
