Why Do Symbiotes Look Like Spider-Man?

The Symbiotes, extraterrestrial beings created by the ancient deity Knull from the primordial essence of the universe, are a species of amorphous, inorganic symbiotic organisms. However, it is intriguing to question why their chest emblem resembles that of Spider-Man. In truth, the Symbiotes derive their "spider" mark from their creator, Knull, who bears the emblem of a dragon on his own chest. Knull possesses a special affinity for his Symbiote dragon companion named Grendel. While Symbiotes such as Venom adopt the dragon symbol, which incidentally resembles Spider-Man's spider symbol, not all Symbiotes display any emblem at all. Therefore, it can be concluded that Symbiotes adopt the dragon symbol of their creator, which coincidentally bears resemblance to the spider symbol, although some Symbiotes do not possess any symbol.

I'd like to think if the Host of whatever Symbiote decides on a slimmed down appearance they would most likely pick a Spider Character's design due to it being the one that the people would be familiar with. I mean when Mac Gargon had Venom he was the Spider-Man of the Dark Avengers, Toxin's OG Host Patrick Mulligan chose a slimmed down appearance and the 1st Hybrid Symbiote's host Scott Washington chose a slimmed down appearance etc.
