Bought this dishwasher in february, 2023 and the front panel begin to rust at the bottom. Be aware that the front panel is not stainless steel. In fact, the front panel is made with regular steel sheet covered with a thin plastic layer. This plastic layer act as protective layer to protect against finger print and the air contact. If air get in contact with an exposed part(without plastic) of the front panel, rust begin.
That's what happend to mine 9 month after purchase.
Do not expect much help from customer service because they say it is not covered under the waranty. The issue have to be reported to Maytag within 30 days after purchase to get lucky with the waranty. So I am stuck with a dishwasher that the plastic layer will peel off and will get rusty over time.
Last thing, on the Maytag web site, It is clearly mentionned that the front panel is stainless. Real stainless don't rust like this. The tub seem to be stainless but not the front panel.
