2024 Honda GRAND PILOT - Extra-Long Honda Pilot with Full-Size 3rd Row

This is how the long-wheelbase Honda Pilot with possible name Grand Pilot with 3 full size rows could look like if it comes in 2024.

And this is the largest Honda's SUV. It's interior space was slightly improved if compare with the previous generation. Extra 2.4 inches for the 2nd row and more room for the 3rd row. But it is still closer to a mid-size SUV.

If you need something roomier you may consider the long versions of American full-size SUV, like Chevrolet Suburban, Ford Expedition MAX, Cadillac Escalade ESV and GMC Yukon XL. Maybe it's time for other car makers to consider making long version of their flagship SUV? We already discussed the long Toyota Sequoia and today we'd like to talk about Honda Pilot, which could be called G rand Pilot, Pilot L or Pilot EX.

Great motives. We as the people who buy those properties/productive items need more space. More importantly more for long distant travelers. The truth is all customers are not satisfied with the way the basic models are. Grand themes. Grand designs are versatile and very appreciated and appealing to those who are taller or kinda chubby with body mass. But I'm finally glad to hear Honda has told certain comments into consideration by addressing specific concerns about the new models XLRV-LRV- XL Grand elite- EXLV- limited Flagship

I love the gold and the white color. I have been holding off on buying a mid size suv, they don't have enough cargo space with the 3rd seat in use, the grand pilot could solve my dilemma, Bring it on, the sooner the better.

I'm not too sure about a long wheelbase Pilot. The 3rd row in the 2023 model is much roomier and can easily fit adults. It can also already store most belongings with the 3rd row up already. Plus the Honda Odyssey exists and will hopefully get a refresh soon so why such a big SUV?

great idea, however, i don't see it happening on a midsize SUV. If Honda made a Pilot similar size to the Chevy Suburban, then I see the possibility of a future Honda Grand Pilot (L)

Honda said the are limiting or streamlining trims. So I doubt this you already have the shorter Passport with No 3rd row. That doesn't make any since for extended version of 3 row Pilot.

How about the pass port ? Assuming the size will increase to 200 inch length from 189 . Honda just stay as is at least change the body not just the front ends and wheel from 18’s to 20 or 22 with all terrain tires this will look more a trail sport .

The downside to this idea is the drivetrain. All of the already existing large SUV’s are rear wheel two wheel for their base to intermediate models. The pilot’s ex-l and touring models are mainly two wheel front wheel drive. If Honda were to make this “grand pilot” they would either have to make it a rear wheel drive for the two wheel drive versions or only offer it in AWD. Also, there is no reason for them to move the rear seats. Those listed large SUV’s are made the way they are so they can carry 8 people and have a large covered cargo area.

Honda Grand Pilot should come with 50 gallons tank and Diesel engine air ride suspension. it would be long range vehicle.
