I love the subtle reference to Alfred's time with the British SAS. Why else would he be working with a local leader in Burma.

Everybody forgets the second part of this story, when later in the movie Bruce asks Alfred “Did you ever catch that bandit you told me about?” And Alfred just says “Yeah.” And when Bruce’s asks how, Alfred just tells him straight up “We burned the entire Forrest down.”
