In this excerpt from his Masterclass course on Snowflight at CGC Academy, guest artist Andrew York talks about how to take a simple piece and make it rich with depth.

Andrew York is a wonderful guitarist, composer, and human being who was gracious enough to teach three of his pieces for our members at CGC Academy.

It's easy to play an easy song, but difficult to play it perfectly.

Thank You. I am learning the guitar through classical guitar corner. I'm just finishing level three. I had learned through David Belcher that what I am learning are not "simple" but works of art. He's taught me to feel each piece. This is what I get from you and I thank you. I go back to levels one and two and they turn out to be beautiful pieces of music not exercises to get to level eight.

Wonderful comment. There is not “easy” piece of music. Sometimes in few notes is more difficult to find the musicality
To “sculptor” the sound is what makes the difference
Thank you

Is this an excerpt from a longer video? If so could you post a link?

Admit it Andrew, you're a pop guitarist not a classical... No need for fancy excuses...
