I really like it for freeway driving but where there is a lot traffic i take over. But im glad i have it. It will make long freeway road trips safer and more relaxing.

This is why my family didn't pay for FSD on our Tesla Model Y that we got last September. I used the free 6 month trial extensively and had similar experiences to this video. It also scared my mom even more than Jan lol. We did get the Enhanced Autopilot package though and don't regret it, too bad it's discontinued.

FSD 12.5.5 on the CT is still a bit rough. For a first release it is cool. Also cool Tesla got this out. But... It is not as smart as 12.5.4 on the Y for sure. It will get smarter and better - like the Y has. Will take some time.

I just got a M3 long-range with FSD 12.5.4, and experienced very similar idiosyncrasies, including, missed exits, odd sharp corrections in lane-keeping, scary merges onto highways and poor adaptive speed tracking...but that was pretty minimal compared to the positive driving experience.

When it is good, it is really good but when it is bad it is REALLY bad. I would give it a grade of 75 out of 100. The phantom braking is common and I've blasted through stop signs. It also continually changes lanes on the highway. It should be FREE on all cars until it is perfected. That way, Tesla can continue getting more and more data.

If they fix the quick acceleration from stop light, last minute lane changes, implement zipper merging and enable users to customize and save their own navigation routes will be a big improvement

Felt like I was watching a Survivor series episode. The intensity and rush of how much CT FSD can be using at this time. Whew imagine arriving to work sweating profusely. “ oh that’s cause I have FSD on my CT” 😅

My only issues with FSD is how late it gets to the correct lane for exits and constantly going 2-3 MPH below speed limit. Otherwise, I love it.
