The two shouldn’t be mutually exclusive; when you separate this “dark” masculinity from “light” masculinity, I think you end up getting very wicked selfish men. You can be ambitious, driven, attractive, and fiery/dangerous while still being virtuous, having healthy emotion, protecting and providing for others

My dad is definitely light. But it kinda trew me off when I heard him say he was actually shy. I watched him once in a party full of people he didnt know and he just seemed almost like dark masculine, just reserved and quiet but confident. I could not sense his shyness. But when he is with people he knows he is very much light and loves to joke.
