I cannot stress this enough. Best way to soak in a jak video on "how to". Watch it, play oracle for a couple hours. Watch it again, the small things he says that you probably missed the first time. You will get the 2nd time. Gl in yah keys

voidweaver is extremely comfy if you're just doing weekly 10s, since it brings more damage and generally doesnt have a lot of hard decisions to make about its cooldowns at that level, but by the time you hit even 12s you start to feel the pain of not having much single target mitigation. those priory lightspawns channels hit like a truck, and as voidweaver it's really hard to muscle through it, but on oracle you can just give someone a shield for 60% of their lifebar and theyre just fine

As a boomie who played last 2 days with different oracles I can say that dps loss from voidweaver covered REALLY WELL when you don't need to overthinking about safe gameplay and all dangerous situations actually covered by oracle so instead on focusing on survival you actually continue to freely tunneling your damage and THAT'S more important I'd say

You talk about using Mindbender, but don't mention an optimal path to selection. Which two points should be moved to use Mindbender?

You mentioned that Divine Procession is helpful to maintain Atonement uptime, but the build in the link does not take it in M+.

After playing a lot of disc on cata, having inner focus and divine aegis back in a new form is cool. Prem of insight before PW:S'ing the whole group with Eternal Barrier is cool af too. Overall I also feel like base spec trees are more balanced and talent choices feel nowhere near as rigid as last season. I'm loving that the more neglected spec+hero tree combos like oracle disc, flameshaper dev, sanlayn unholy, aldrachi reaver are finally seeing some attention

thank you jak! I love oracle it feels very strong and when i think of disc priest i always think of pws, finally a build to fulfill my fantasy. also I can carry tanks that are a bit slacking, like prot warriors with 55% or less uptime on shield block. thanks to my shields they wont even notice that they can do better

Looks like that bottom left side of the tree is no longer stigmatized as "PvP quarantine zone", lol. Glad to hear we have actually some flexibility now with our HTs, I really like Oracle and I agree it is fun to play.

I've been getting pressure to switch to oracle from VW... But my gear is set for high haste and basically have no crit (9%)... I've pushed into my first ever 12s and timed... But I'll give this a go this weekend. Looks complicated but easier with your tips. Thanks a lot Jak for this video!
