1. It’s Bluetooth so of course distance is limited. 2. I’ve used mine up to 500 degrees in the oven with no problems. 3. Been using mine for many years and other than changing batteries occasionally, I’ve never had an issue with operation or paring (can’t remember ever having to perform paring after the first time). Great Bluetooth thermometer IMHO!

Wow 1 use? Thing is a PoS. Takes two dozen pairing attempts every time you want to use it. Pisses you off more than anything. Look elsewhere.
