How to find Rank of matrix by determinant method

If determinant =non zero then,
Rank is 3

If determinant =0 then Rank will 1 or 2.


If determinant =0 and mini determint 1, 2 = zero
Mini determinant 3, 4 = non zero
Rank is 2


If determinant =0 and mini determint 1, 2, 3 = zero,
Mini determinant 4 = non zero
Rank is 2

If determinant =0 and mini determint 1, 2, 3, 4 = All are zero then
Rank is 1
