As a breast cancer survivor it hurts me to hear these young girls having their healthy breasts removed. I just can’t imagine why this would be a good idea. Minors are not old enough to buy cigarettes or alcohol but they let them have that kind of surgery

As a child I was molested by my grandfather. If someone told me at age 12 that I could stop puberty and have my boobs chopped up, I would have 100% done it. Over time I got my comfortable with my body and today I’m an adult and I’m comfortable in my body. It horrifies me that this is happening to these confused young people

Either it's "no one is doing surgeries on minors" or "doing surgery on minors is ok." I'm an average joe, classical liberal, yet I know THREE minors who have had some sort of gender affirmation surgery. 2 with double mastectomies, all with hormones.

Appreciate you talking about stuff like this 💗. As a girl who took testosterone as a minor it hurts my heart to see people support minors transitioning. Knowing there are so many boys and girls who will grow up to regret these irreversible decisions just as I did is so sad.

Whenever i hear them say they dont do this on kids i think about 3 friends of mine who got top surgery at around 16 (I live in california near san francisco). One of my friends identified as non binary and was going to get top surgery when she turned 16. Here parents were the ones to go to therapy in order to "understand" their childs choices.

Horrific. I am haunted by an image of a woman crying because she could not breast feed her baby after detransitioning. It was the saddest sight 😢 This is why we need to protect children from medical transitioning before 18
