As a recovering addict, the way Trump spoke about his brother really made me feel intense. Knowing that millions of other people worldwide can relate directly with that side of a struggle is a great thing.

I LOVED that Theo's first question was, "Tell me something you admire about each of your sons." What an interviewer.

Trump literally acted like a therapist when Theo was talking about drugs- he was completely non-judgemental and asked questions showing genuine curiosity. Quite amazing.

And Theo calling him homie and then later “Donald” 😅😂 so funny

Funny but also so heartfelt

In 2017 I was in Kuwait on Thanksgiving in between stents in Iraq.
President Trump had a video conference with a dozen or so people from each branch of the military.
I was lucky enough to be selected as a Specialist in the Army.
The first 5 minutes were very formal because he had the media behind him.
But he abruptly kicked them out so that he could "talk with his troops privately."
And as soon as the cameras were gone, he became a super chill guy.
He made fun of the Navy for losing to the Army in football that year.
He asked us questions about our missions.
And he genuinely wanted to speak to the enlisted soldiers, and not the officers.
It's truly one of the highlights of my ongoing military career, and my life.
I've served under 3 presidents now, and he's the only one I was proud to call "my commander in chief."

I am not a diehard Trump supporter, and I found the interview to be pretty wholesome and endearing. It was cool Trump opened up about his brother and family.

I knew someone who worked on one of Trump’s golf courses and he said that Trump is a very genuine and sincere person to be around

"cocaine will turn you into an owl homie. You'll be your own street lamp." - theo to a president haha

Speaking openly about how alcoholism/addiction hurts families is very important. It's heart warming to think of DJT as a little brother who was hurt by his big brother's struggle.

Theo Von: “Cocaine will turn you into a damn owl, homie. You'll be your own streetlamp!”

Donald Trump: “Is that a good feeling?”

Theo:

😂🤣

Trump seemed so human for once, not thanks to the legacy media, which could help him reach younger voters

He is often characterized as a monster by mainstream media but in reality, he's far from it. He shows genuine curiosity, compassion, and understanding. It's a testament to his real character underneath all the political hullabaloo.

I love Theo doesn’t change no matter if he’s chatting with a Carney or dinner Lady to a President of the United States. Thanks Barron Trump for swaying your Dad to do Theo’s podcast. 👍

Trump is a great guy. My dad had the experience of randomly sitting beside him at two different baseball games back in the late '80's. He remembers Trump talking to all the people seated near him, getting to know them and being genuinely interested in them as people. He's apparently extremely approachable and friendly.

Trump talking about his brother Fred is always great to hear. Despite everything, Trump still loves his brother and took every word he said to heart. This is the side of Trump we need to see. A caring and warm Trump who gets to know you

I see Trump ask questions a lot. Not just here with Theo. That is a sign if incredible wisdom.

He doesnt think he knows it all and he doesnt preach his opinions. He asks. He wants to learn more. He wants to understand.
