I just cooked some in a winter minestrone, in place of chard, and it was delicious.

I love collards and kale. Got my collard seeds sitting out and about to prepare my spot for them. Mmm!!

Thanks so much for posting this. They are very nutritious as you say, and easy to grow in most areas. And a fantastic addition to most any Southern cooking!

Wow! This is a great video! I learned a lot about the nutrition of collards that I didn't know. I live up north in Michigan but always buy and cook collards when I'm down in Florida. I guess I'll have to give it a try and see if they'll grow up here. Thank you for the video 🤠.

Wow... I never knew collard greens were so beneficial... I just knew that I liked them when they were spicy 😋 thank you so much for sharing all the videos that you do... I have learned something from every one of them... From when you were teaching your sister, how to use a compass in the woods, to your brother skinning catfish... and the crawfish boils with the family... I do a large crawfish boil every Memorial Day... It's funny how the people that say.. eww, i wouldn't eat them, they are the people that always wind up eating the most... The dips you make for them ste absolutely delicious... your videos are like a visual encyclopedia, from A to Z

This year I have grown blue kale, green kale, Swiss chard and Arugula. They grew very easily. Low maintenance,
Thank you for this video.
God bless you richly.

Started growing collards in the garden last year. Absolutely love them! And it's great picking a big ol' pot full and slow cooking them down with a ham hock and some white beans. Great video. Thx for the adding info!

I grew it in MN. It grows great here, but most people won't eat it. They only want meat and potatoes. O well, I'll keep growing and eating it.
