The e60 was an e50 m119 bored and stroked to 6l. The E55 had a m113 single cam 3 valves per cylinder. E430 and w202 C43 amg also had the m113 That one was modular with the M113 v6 in the C240, C280, E320 and C32 AMG. The m119 was a twin cam 4 valve per cylinder. Came in the E420, S500 etc. That one was modular with the m111 in the and the m104.

Awesome car I have an e55. You don't actually have to hold down the key to start. Just turn it once and it starts automatically like a push start button. That's 90's luxury such cool and good feeling option everytime you start the car 🤓

Great video. One thing i noticed. The engine is NOT from the E55 AMG m113. The engine is actually from the already very rare E50 AMG M119. And as far as i am aware of m119 AMG only existed in the E50 w210. And it is one of the best old school V8 engine Mercedes ever made. E60 is actually exactly the same as E50 if u don't look for a stamp on the engine block saying it is a 6.0L V8. But drives very different. E60 is powerful. But not as rev happy as the E50. As speaking of rare. E60 AMG takes the win. But with most ppl i have talked to who is in to Mercedes. They simply replied E50 has a more refined engine. Increase displacement to 6.0 made the engine more grumpy But also Less refined.

Love these pre-facelift W210's. The M113 used in the E55 is a great engine, but I like the M119 better, hehe
And if the E50 was already incredible, the E60 takes that up quite a few notches!
Better than this, only a Brabus 6.5 version of it! (Talking about V8's, mind you...not even gonna mention the EV12, haha!)

That's not the engine from E55 the 3 valve M113.
This has the M119 with 4 valves from the older E50 or 500E that won LeMans in 1989

w210 is 21century car. i think i would take w210 instead of w124 and w210 had 7.3 engine as well crazy

Dont drive it on W-mode. It's for winter. S in the other hand is NOT sport. It's Stantard.
+ That AMG 6.0 M119 origins to E50 AMG, not E55 AMG. E55 was M113.
