I like to believe, the reason I never heard about these 2 in the rhythm section, is because they landed their ship for this concert and left just after. ❤❤❤ so good!!!!

Obed is so flipping creative. He really finds a way to make me question everything.

The first time I heard Gilad was years ago. I thought, "Man, what an impressive young player." I haven't heard him for a while... he's even better.

I think this is what they call "playing out"

This is What a swingin rhythm section the bass player is out of this world solid and tight and the drummer is the best I have heard in years, what a quartet ! Superb musicianship and excellent progressive ideas from each section.

J'aime beaucoup comment Emmet reste fidèle aux racines du jazz et du blues tout en ajoutant sa touche de modernité!!...

I'm here 'cos I saw Obed play last night. Some great ideas when trading fours. Off to the woodshed for me!

You can listen that in one street of Badajoz, Spain in a cube stereo XD when I don't play the sax, well, with each note you play your hair move and dance so wild, and every hair in the Emmet place music listening area.

I’ve been trying to find what brand that guitar is for a bit, but I’m struggling. I’ve seen Kurt Rosenwinkle play one as well, and I figure it could be a boutique brand? Looks almost like guild, but I’ve never seen their logo like that. Anyone have any idea?

Serious question: what do they do to the harmony to make it less sound like your typical 12 bar blues??

Can anybody help me please. I am an enthusiastic semi-professional musician and I play bass in a covers band, we gig a lot. We just do rock n roll standards though and it's all pretty basic, as is my playing (roots, fifths, sevenths, thirds etc)... This is obvs another level though. I love it but I don't, so to speak, get it. Anybody able to help? My questions are whether it's just me or if it kind of gets crazier and crazier as it goes (in a good way) and at the start is Gilad playing in a very loose time signature? How does Obed know when to come in??? I am very keen to develop and learn, any help, advice gratefully appreciated. Also please can anybody recommend other stuff to listen to? I like The Black Saint and The Sinner Lady, Keith Jarrett, Bill Evans, Miles Davis on Kind of Blue... But these are all things I've kind of stumbled across- I don't know where to look for the good stuff.
