reset HikVision NVR under 2 minutes

here's a super easy way to reset the HikVision NVR password in case you forget the password. no need to talk or email HikVision tech support. you can do the hard reset within 30 seconds. while this video is for DS-7604NI-Q1/4P, it should work with almost any HikVision NVR.

Thanks for the video, we have a DS-76O8NI-K1/8P/4G NVR& it does have the switch next to battery but I can press it for a minute & nothing happens. Have you any ideas please. Thanks.

Thank you. I was looking for a reset button, trying to solve a problem with the hik-connect app: The manual focusing button of my ptz dome disappeared. I tried to install another app like guarding vision for example. Then I updated the DVR´s firmware, factory resetted it and still without the focusing button. The PTZ parameters are OK and the focusing is set to "manual" in the menu. Maybe it solves with a hard reset. Thank you again.
