Halo 3 Glitch - Drive The AA Wraith (REVISITED)

A classic fun and useful glitch that let's you drive the Anti-Air Wraiths. These are very powerful vehicles that are very useful on higher difficulties of the game. Enjoy!

Fun fact. This works in ODST as well, and you can use this method to hijack Wraiths in Firefight (obviously only on the 360 version due to no Firefight in MCC :/ )

This is legit something I've always started this mission with; driving the Anti-Air Wraith. It blew my mind when I first saw that I could drive something you were never intended to and even when you could do it in ODST, and it was all due to your original video on it, thank you.

Another fun fact, in Ruby's Rebalance mod the Anti Air Wraith is now fully usable to the players in the campaign. He changed the continuous fire rate to 6 round burst with increased velocity and tracks vehicles including air units.

Always a fun thing to do, till I decide to bring a friend along and they blow the damn thing up after I'm just about to headshot the brute, or try the, " if you can dodge a frag, you can dodge a laser." And then proceed to waste laser shots at me...

I remember doing this glitch on accident when I was about 6 years old. I went back when I was 10 years old to try and do it again, but I had no idea. This video really helped me out, so thanks.

Way back in 2011/2012 on the mission "The Ark" I was watching my brother play it and he jumped onto the back of the AA Wraith and hit it once so the turret elite or brute died and then once again so the driver died and then his character hopped off and the AA Wraith went down to the ground and it said "Press X to drive wraith" and he was able to use it. Everyday since then it has been a mystery to us and we have tried t do it on and off again but never could. (At the time we never thought to YouTube it.)

Makes me wonder why it's called an AA wraith when its main weapon can't even destroy the slowest of flying vehicles the one they do hit you definitely feel it.

Okay I managed to do this on the ark, and I thought I'd note that on the ark there is also a normal wraith in the same area as the two AA wraiths which also explodes when unpiloted just like the AAs. It can be controlled with the same method.
