A reason why Kim Chul, the big tanky man was so annoyed at Jinwoo and the others wasn’t just because he lost his teammates but he was literally starving and after seeing Jinwoo’s group having a cozy camp with food and warm coats this added to his rage even more, with the manhwa saying he only had eaten 1 rabbit the entire time, and he’s a big lad

And whilst Kim was shouting at the group at the camp, the anime cut out the group protecting Jinwoo’s name after he said he would help them but no questions and do not reveal anything they see, they were loyal to our boi despite Kim’s rage outburst.

Jinwoo’s fight against Barca, the boss ice elf was actually a lot more intense in the manhwa, in the anime it seems to be going to Jinwoo’s plans and looked like a effortless fight but in reality, he really struggled against Barca as he really is a lot stronger than Jinwoo, so much so they cut out another part where Jinwoo was a little shocked at Barca’s aura due to his massive strength.

funny thing is that in the manhwa (i read the whole thing ages ago) barca is called baruka not sure about his name in the anime cus i havnt watched season 2 yet but yeah everything else he said was accurate to what i read in the manhwa

Yea, the anime made it seem like Sung Jin Woo was only a bit weaker than Baruka

and only needed a lil bit extra to tip the scales from one or two of his shadows


In reality, Baruka completely outclassed Jinwoo, and he barely made it out with multiple tactics and tricks from his entire shadow squad jumping Baruka


edit: an example is manhwa Baruka would easily counter the pull dagger, and have to be sneak attacked by Igris + Iron at the same time WHILST dagger pulling, just to land a hit

They did try and show Baruka's sheer tenacity more with the end of the anime fight though, but the portrayl of his power didn't seem that crazy in the anime

One more interesting detail they skip with the anime is that jin woo kick kim chul sword towards him so that he can pick it up and try to kill jin woo out of madness, but in the end it was all a plan so that jin woo can turn kim chul into a shadow when he was acting him.
