A few things to know about this video:

The rewards program/mobile app has completely changed its structure. It's still DEFINITELY worth having if you go to Starbucks even on occasion, but just be sure to read up on it before you use it.

During the pandemic, we aren't allowed to accept personal cups. Our store will still give the discount for the effort (and most stores probably will), but until further notice, we can't touch them.

A lot of Starbucks are drive thru only, so it will be very difficult to do the "make your own latte" trick. Also, our cafe only keeps half and half on the condiment bar, and a barista likely won't fill you up with milk at bar. But know that while it's not illegal to do, baristas REALLY frown upon it. Also, right now during the pandemic, we don't keep milk at the condiment bar. You HAVE to ask your barista for condiments.

Also, the coaster trick was really cool. I've been there 6 years and had NO idea.

Starbucks doesn’t use tap water they use filtered water so it’s not far off from what you’d get from the bottle anyway

If you like the White Chocolate Mocha, just get regular coffee, milk and have them add 3-4 pumps of WCM.. it tastes the same and it’s cheaper AND less calories

Make sure that if you are asking for a drink from the "secret menu" that you know the ingredients. the secret menu isnt made by starbucks, therefore baristas are not required to know how to make the drinks.

Free refills, if you order off the "Starbucks" mobile app!







The refills are free for any drink, of any size... However, your refills can only be used to obtain a standard brewed coffee or tea- not a handcrafted drink like a latte/frap. And limited to the size you ordered. of course.
So, if you order a Venti latte, you can use your refill on a brewed coffee or tea, but not another handcrafted drink.
The best part is that your refills aren't limited to the same drink you ordered.
You can purchase a coffee then take home a herbal tea- like an iced Passion Tango tea- for example...
When considering the refills, for mobile app users, this makes Starbucks of greater value then other cafes. For a coffee there might be 25% more expensive then a cheaper chain but if you take a refill then it effectively cuts the price in half or by more than a third on handcrafted drinks...
This is one of the many ways Starbucks distinguishes itself from the pack... By offering their customers more than what they bargained for...

If you bring your own tumbler/cup/mug, you will save 10 cents. But do not add any syrups. Because, then you won’t be saving money and will be paying the same if you adding syrup to the drink.
