I've had a few technical videos showing the circuitry inside vaping devices demonetized. The videos were not about actual vaping, or promoting it in any way. They were just looking at the evolving technology inside the devices.

🙌🙌 PLEASE IMPLEMENT THESE 2 FEATURES, THEY WILL BE GAME-CHANGING 🙌🙌

First, consider automating caption sections, specifically auto-translating titles and captions. Alternatively, having a preset of languages would be ideal. I have added languages as part of my strategy, and each time I have to manually add 30+ languages. Ugh. Even hiring someone for this purpose sounds absurd when I know this can be automated.

Second, build an AI assistant into the comments interface. Let's train this AI to scan predictable comments. Kind of like it already does, but more detailed and personal, and for EACH comment, not just selected few (like it does now). I would love for every comment I get to be answered, and this seems like a solution.

Generally speaking it would be great to see AI presence within the YouTube studio

As a 2A content creator I get yellow marked just because a person doesn't understand firearms, then I'll upload the same video and it would be manually reviewed and Green Marked, so Im interested to see how this works out.

Great update! Can you see this time stamps on videos that have previously been uploaded and marked not advertiser friendly? Would be nice to see why my videos have been marked in the past.

It's kind of hilarious that it took YouTube SEVEN YEARS to start "slowly rolling out" explanations for demonetization instead of being frustratingly mysterious and vague. What took so long?

OK Guys this is a well meaning but entirely half baked non-solution. Why not allow us to cut out the offending timestamps and make the video in question viable for monetization. That way both Creator and YouTube still have a viable video that can generate revenue. AND ALSO! in expunging a yellow icon the channel does not suffer decreased reach on the platform.

Good! This is a step in the right direction. 4:28 puzzles me "we want to avoid creators snipping out the violating content and resubmitting" - why? YouTubers want to play by your rules and be within the guidelines. "Just tell us what you want changed and we'll fix it" is _exactly_ how creators feel! Less time dealing with yellow icons and more time spent creating benefits everyone. Anyway, a positive step, thanks

Gee, it only took 7 years for YouTube to get around to letting us creators know what is wrong with our videos. How nice. Thank you so much. As this platform dies due to Google treating us creators like we are the least important part of this platform. Wonderful news /s

Such a massive change and difference, been hoping for this for years. Very glad to see it

how about some accountability for the youtube moderators who lazily mass decline appeals?

Finally, it's a start, YouTube's lack of due process when penalizing content creators has been woefully ridiculous. Imagine getting dragged into a court room and the judge tells you you're being punished for doing something but doesn't tell you what you did or when you did it. That and imagine you're told you can go talk to the prosecutor to work it out and appeal, but you find the door to their office is just painted on the wall. That's YouTube arbitrary enforcement of the rules and their appeal process in a nutshell.

It's frustrating when history educators like myself get dinged for mentioning historical events in an educational context. This is a massive improvement.

I only wish that we were shown where a violation may be before submitting an appeal request. That way I could manually remove issues and avoid the need for human review entirely. I imagine this would save YouTube the cost of these avoidable human reviews.

The same thing we want before De monetization of a Channel so that we can do the correction and get a chance of saving ourselves from a great loss. Just give us the time line of the video & a time span to correct ourselves. Thank you.

You mean you're actually going to tell us WHY? WOW, what a novel idea!

Getting monetization is THE biggest headache of uploading. Being able to trim out the flagged section of the video and go green would help a ton.

I am seeing increasingly aggressive erroneous copyright claims on music on my channel for which I own a license, but the claimant denies my appeal and this puts my channel one step closer to an unwarranted copyright strike. When will YouTube address the years-old problem of erroneous copyright claims? When will YT clamp down on erroneous claimants? What is YT doing to get major royalty free music libraries such as StoryBlocks whitelisted, so these claims won't appear in the future?

Great, thank you, one of the most important upgrades lately!
I have a video that after human review was classified as not suitable for advertisers, and all the video shows are public beaches in Thailand full of people and kids. I am curious to see what the reviewer has seen in the video that I cannot see!

The funny part is they still think we believe the "human" reviewers are actually human. When an appeal is denied less than a minute after I submitted it, on a ten minute long video, it's real obvious a human being never looked at it.

FINALLY! It's been 86 years! Seriously thank you for following though with this, it's good to know YouTube actually listens.

very good, i got a 6 hour video put on limited and gives me basically no clue what the issue was lol. welcome change! and if the video is fixed could it be reinstated for full monetization?
