The passion from Flair during this promo is so intense because he genuinely did not like Eric Bischoff. Flair wasn't ready to retire or become a mid carder like Eric wanted. Flair was still over and it didn't matter if he was a face or a heel.

I remember watching this promo with my dad who doesn't speak one bit of English. Even if he didn't know what Ric Flair was saying he was so into it and laughing his ass off. He always knew when the blonde haired "Rich Flair" was on, it would be a great promo and an even better match.
