I have always wondered why do galaxies and star systems have planes? Why do all planets orbit the sun in a relatively same horizontal plane? why is no planet orbiting the sun on a vertical plane? Same for the galaxy. What I mean is if we look to the solar system from the side our orbit would look like ----, why do no planets orbit like | ?
