A black hole the mass of earth would not be self-sustaining and even it it were and started gobbling up earth, the pattern would not look like this. It would start falling while consuming, producing massive amounts of energy and all the lava and innards would merge then be orbiting the black hole. The earth by this point would be non-recognizable but be a bunch of hot rocks/ reacting mess orbiting whilst falling in. The moon would probably be flung away.

And someday some evil genius develops a black hole bomb... I have to wonder though could a black hole be used to power a rocket either by using the pulll to get you across space but then somehow escape it like the slingshot idea, or the radiation it expells propell some craft.

Of course, nobody has ever, or will ever, record a single photon of Hawking radiation, in any way. It is a completely empty idea, because there is no joint theory that accommodates both quantum theory and relativity. Said in a technical way, there is no Hamiltonian for gravitation and so no quantization. Trying to quantize space and time is not a way out of this problem. These arguments involving black holes are essentially empty of actual science content. Go Jackets!
