What a rough life. Why would they tell you to give the baby up, but keep in contact with the adoptive parents when you were cut off and even inviting the daughter to a family function without telling you? Why are some people so hurtful?

Im pretty sure legally thay can't do that, if theirs papers, she can go to a lawyer or court . Now, if it's under the table then she cant do anything

It's never an open adoption, even if it is the babies connection to the bio mother is too strong for it to form a connection with anyone else without complete removal and you're not allowed to see the baby until like 5 or something (it verries depending on state). It'll be years before you get to see your baby and even after years for some reason adoptive parents feel threatened by the bio moms undeniable connection and instead of upholding the deal they usually decide to cut contact. It's even worse because legally the adoptive parents have proof of being there for the child for years and you will legally have proof of nothing so the whole system is completely f*cked leaving you with no way to fight for a relationship with your child
