The story as no foundation. We are dropped in a life and death situation and multiple worlds explored, but there's no attachment to any place, anyone or anywhere. The author loses himself in the poor description of that round table to provide an absolute useless information about new powers or how to get them - spoiler: it's a stupid way - and after only 35mn i wanna quit already... I'll try to continue longer but honestly, it's just painful. There's literally no interest or investment in the story. It's just "shit happens". There is no drive except except a very vague "I'm gonna save the world". We don't know from what or why, and there's little to no suspense about it. It's painfully boring.
