It’s weird that they’re just now adding these before sunbreak. Even though it’s very unlikely since most of Jang’s turf wars against the elders are just nergigante ape edition, I really hope that Nergi and Velkhana make an appearance in SunRise before the fifth gen comes to an ends.

I don't know why are you guys saying Jang won. He never got a chance to utterly dominate and ragdoll them like Nergigante did in Iceborne because both dragons kicked him back

Neither did Jho, nor Bazel, nor Magnamalo for that matter. At best, these four can push an Elder Dragon back, but not outright kill it.

Except maybe Kirin (known to be the weakest Elder in MH)

Teostra: breath out flame which over 1000 degree celsius : deal 198 dmg to Rajang
Daora: use front leg to "push" away Rajang: deal 500 dmg

Interestingly, Rajang's managed to defy the usual convention of ties in Sunbreak by taking the second hit but not being rideable afterwards.

Well, it's nice to see these turf wars back, though I do miss the detail of how Rajang powered up when it was nearly overpowered by the opponent rather than right as the fight starts.

Edit: I know elder dragons is a high threat because not only they are dangerous but alter the environment also. But cmon, rajang can indirectly do that by herding kirins, no?

Anyone else feel like rajang is slowly becoming a "gary stu" among monsters.
I get that he beats kirin since he is clearly the weakest of the lesser elder dragons in body strength matters but teostra is still a fucking giant armored lion, fire resistance or not at least a draw, he's a normal rajang ffs.
