I normally enjoy this sort of fantasy but I really struggled to get beyond the first few chapters. The lead protagonist is one of the most insufferable, self pitying whingers and the Fae are not particularly believable (for putting up with Feyre’s constant petulant whining for one thing). The language too doesn’t ring true in this setting. I don’t like to give up on a book once I’ve started, so perhaps I’ll give it another go on audio books instead (I feel a certain obligation as a friend recommended it!)
